“I create several kinds of unique art. Fiber is the medium. My fascination with photography has found expression via printing directly onto various fabrics. An innovative series includes original images printed on silk organza, creating a holographic effect. Further pieces are worked into mixed media collages using transparent silk organza. Both styles possess an extra dimension of light, flowing through the piece, creating patterns, dependent on the angle of the viewer. I dye and surface design all the materials I use. I am passionate about my work and continue to explore my chosen medium to see what it can do, to stretch its perception.”

Her innovative Holographic Images were in Quilting Arts Magazine and on Quilting Arts TV. She is a 2008 Niche Awards finalist for the Rosen Craft Shows and will have a solo show at the Lincoln Levy Gallery, Portsmouth NH, in May.
